Common Questions About Course Previews
When should I start my course preview?Course previews are great for refreshing your memory and easing you into the start of school. To get the most out of a course preview, we recommend that you start your preview in the last 2-3 weeks of summer so you will be fresh and ready to go on the first day of school. I submitted my Registration Form. What happens next?First, we send you a custom tuition estimate based on your personalized program so you can budget and plan. You should receive your tuition estimate within 3 days of submitting your Registration Form. Next, your schedule of classes will arrive by May 15 if registering before then, or within 3 business days if registering after May 15. Your schedule is placed on a short-term courtesy hold, pending receipt of payment and signed documents. What if I don't like my class times?We make every effort to accommodate the scheduling preferences you list on your Registration Form. If you cannot attend at your assigned class time, we will do our best to give you a new class schedule, but schedule changes may delay your start date. When do classes meet?We run both morning and afternoon sessions. We recommend one hour/day, Mon-Fri for course previews. The more you come, the more you cover! What if I decide to schedule extra sessions?Contact us by phone or email to add sessions. Is there homework in a Course Preview?Your teacher will assign practice problems and give short, low stress quizzes in class so you know what to work on. No need to worry about grades - this is for your benefit and enrichment. Are Course Previews taught one-to-one?Course previews are taught in our one-to-one format so we can customize to your skills and areas to work on. What is the tuition?Tuition is hourly. You are billed in advance for the number of sessions scheduled. Is tuition refundable?Yes - any unused tuition in our Course Preview program is refundable. What if I need to be absent?With advance notice, you can be absent without being charged for the session. As part of the registration process you will be asked to review and sign our Enrollment Agreement, which provides further details about absences and cancellations. |
