Our Mission

Lydian Academy serves high school students who are invested in their education and who are seeking something a little different for all or part of their schooling.

Lydian emphasizes teaching excellence and customized learning, and we encourage students to reach their full potential by taking charge of their own education.

We are devoted to helping students build the academic foundation they need to prepare for college or the post-secondary path of their choice.

Why We're Different

Our management team is made up of seasoned educators who hold valid California teaching credentials. We understand how students learn and we have strong connections with local schools. At your request and with permission from the school our credentialed staff is available to connect with the teachers and school personnel involved in your child's education.

High School Courses For Credit

Open year round, Lydian Academy offers UC-APPROVED courses for high school credit in all subjects.

Many students take courses at Lydian while concurrently enrolled at their local high school; others attend Lydian full-time.

Courses are taught one-to-one or in small groups of 2-3, allowing students to move at their own pace and master content at each level before moving on.

TutorPlus

TutorPlus combines tutoring PLUS study habits PLUS school connection. Our management team includes experienced, credentialed educators who connect with your child's teachers. Our instructors focus on course content plus organization, time management and study skills for success in high school and beyond.
