Accreditation and Certifications
Lydian Academy is fully-accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Most educational institutions recognize credits from their WASC-accredited peers.
The Lydian curriculum and instruction has been evaluated by a number of respected educational entities:
- The University of California has reviewed and approved the Lydian curriculum
- The College Board has reviewed and approved the Lydian AP courses
- WASC completed an extensive, 3-day onsite visit to review and sanction our curriculum, our instruction, our leadership, operations, financials, and school governance.
- Our core courses have been reviewed and approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
Supplemental Students
Transferring Lydian Credits to Your High School
Most high schools are supportive of students who need additional options in achieving their academic goals. Public schools all over the Peninsula have accepted Lydian credits on their transcripts.

Accreditation
Accreditation is a voluntary, non-governmental process that:
- certifies to the public that the school is a trustworthy institution of learning
- validates the integrity of a school's program and student transcripts
- fosters improvement of the school's programs to support student learning
- assures the community that the school's purposes are appropriate and being accomplished through a viable educational program.
